Too much coffee. Doh!

I feel really hyper, all of the sudden. And I don't know why. Is that part of the sleep thing? Right? *ponders*

Anyway, I posted some Spike vid recs at Buffyverse Top 5 if you're interested. I'll also be posting non-Spike vid recs and some fic recs too. Eventually.

And while you're browsing, check out GW Colony Rate and GW Rate, because Dour is demanding pimpage.

And also... um... there was something I was supposed to be doing. *thinks* Hm. Oh well. If you think of it, remind me! Also, please send my brain back to me via email if you find it!

TTFN!

::glomp::

What does TTFN mean?
Hee! It means ta ta for now. ^^
I remember what you were supposed to be doing! Getting on AIM to speak to ME!!
Hee! Long time member of GW Rating, and a pretty active one there too. >D She needs a Howard stamp by the way! I remember her asking for help finding good pictures for one for him, and I think one for Sylvia too.

Need to join the colony rating comm, though I think that one's a good deal tougher. :P
Oooooh! Howard! I'm looking for Howard stuff anyway, because I wanna make a Howard love bar... or whatever they're called again. xD

Anyway, yay for gw_rating! I was in the comm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back and got rated Hilde, but that was my old LJ (I'm linked in the stamped people!). Hee!

The colony rating looks fun! I wanna get rated for my mobile suit, too! There's a whole sequence, you see? crazy!Duo, pilot from L1, flying the Epyon gundam! Mwahahahahahahahaa!
Doh!! That's right! I forgot! Waaaaaaaaaah!!

Well, I'm going in tomorrow, but I'll probably be back early (because I'm not working ma's shift and don't have to stay until 10). I'll catch you on AIM if I can and then we can catch up! We gotta talk about loads and loads of stuff!
Hey, you got some sleep! Congrats. ^^

Er... All clear on brains in the Netherworlds, sir. *dents hollow skull in salute*
Yesh! Sleep rocks! It's the bestest thing in whole wide, wide world!! ^^

*dents fellow hallow skull in equal salute*

Good job, major! Now drop down and give me twenty... err... hostess pies!
How about poffertjes instead?   (ò_ó)\ sir?!

*uses silly icon*
ZOMG! I think I've had those before!! I've had a lot of Dutch food, I think, since my family has a tendency to cook it... hm. Or maybe it's common? *thinkers*

Anyway, yay for silly icons!
Really? That's great!   \(^O^)/ Mot loves foods!   What kinds of Dutch/European foods does your family cook? What's your favourite?

Do you know anything about your family tree, where your family (or different sides of the family) came from before settling in the US?

My family tree from dad's side goes back to France. You have probably heard of the French huguenots; I am descendant of two branches (del Voye and le Mahieu) that fled to the north. Grandma from mom's side was named Brandenburg, however, which is a province in Germany. Guess that makes me Western European! ^^

*sighs* Heh.
Hee! I honestly couldn't say what sort of foods they cook, since I can't put names on them (my dad tends to experiment, and things are usually called Stuff or Food, which is rather inconvenient. Hee!), but my grandmother (his mother) is rather big on Dutch cooking. Hee! I shall have to ask for her favorite dishes for you!

My dad's side of the family is very German (with a dose of others), because his grandmother was full blooded. His grandfather was a Grant, and you can follow the family tree all the way back to Ulysses Grant, the president via the Civil War (and hence my last name). My mother is mostly European, and her mom's mom came over from Scotland (we think) because my other grandmother was a full blooded Scot (related to Robbie The Bruce). We don't really know anything about my mom's father, but we do know, if he was her father, that he was a big-time bootlegger during the Prohibition. I'm not sure where he was descended, but apparently *his* mother was named Birdie, and she was a French Candian Native American. Hee! So I have both Native American and French Canadian in my blood, too. xD

Also, somewhere along the line, my dad's side of the family also has Scottish in me, because apparently they're very, very, very distant cousins via Robbie The Bruce, somehow.

So! I think it's German, Scott, Native American, Canadian, European, a touch of Irish (on my dad's side), and some others I'm forgetting. A mutt, I am. xD
