Since I'll never get to this tomorrow (read: later today), I'll say this:
I am proud of my country.
I did have a much longer, rambling essay about the whys and hows of the thing, but that's really all that needs to be said. In the last 8 years, I haven't had the opportunity to say anything prideful very often. This is a good day. I want to remember every last detail.

1) It's my mother's birthday today. OMG!
2) The Onion was psychic.
3) I had no idea Obama's middle name was Hussein. This amuses me greatly (especially considering the ignorance that results). Heh! Now we leave before I get back to the Why We Still Have A Long Way To Go rant...
