Quick question!

Yes, I know, I'm still awake. I'm gonna be dead tired tomorrow! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!

Okay, quick question. I was wondering if you guys think this ad in the Craig's list is authentic. My dad wants me to call and consider writing the novel for him, but 1) he's a weird stranger I never met, 2) I can't find this story anywhere, and 3) although interesting, I have a feeling we're going to disagree on certain issues.

I don't know. You would think that you would be able to google the names and come up with some sensational news story, but you don't. All you get is one article (http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/10703617/detail.html) and that doesn't even mention that this person was a model or that she was in any way, shape, or form connected to Kathy Ireland or Donald Trump.

Also, it looks like the pay is contingent on if he sells the book to a publisher and that would mean that you might not get paid for doing a ton of work if he can't sell it.

Other than those opinions of mine, I really don't know what to say about it. Something just doesn't seem right. May be worth a call, but it is your call. Then again, I may just be overly cautious, but I do remember how crazy that one individual drove you when you were helping with his book.

Yesh, I'd really rather not go through what I went through with that other guy, especially having learned my lesson (although I did get an okay pay out of it, in the end, which is what I wanted). I've been suspicious from the start, so you're not being paranoid--something just seems off about it. I'm not gonna do it, especially since you seem to think the same. Woot! I'll make some excuse or something--I mean, it's weird that Google doesn't have one thing to say about it--at least not as far as names go. You'd think a name connected to Kathy Ireland and Donald Trump would mean something.

And yeah, even if it *was* based on truth, there's no telling he'd be able to sell the book anyway, not to mention credit the actual author. I'd much rather write my own, in that case. Heh!

So, that's that. ^^

Hm...I don't know. I've never heard of Shannon Ireland, and neither has Google, so how can she be all that "world famous"? And if it's been "in the news on and off for twenty years," I would have thought Google would have something. Of course, I did just look at the first page, so I might have missed it.

I don't know. I'm skeptical, but that doesn't make it false.

That listing gives me the weirds. I looked up kathy ireland and her bio never mentions any brothers or sisters. I also looked up the name, and all I got was listings for a bunch of places in Shannon Ireland.

Honestly. I wouldn't put a bunch into work on a story that if its been on Court TV a bunch of times already, there is bound to be a book or two about it already. Besides, you getting any money out of that is contingent on him selling the story to a publisher.

*nod nod* Exactly. It doesn't feel right, especially since Google has nothing to say about it, and even if it *were* authentic, if it's that well known, there would be other books written about it already.

Princess said the episode he refers to is going to be aired on Saturday, so I'll watch that. Still, I'm not gonna write for it. There's too many if's involved.

That's why I love you!! *grabs and kishes* He doesn't mean it that way (he just wants me to win a Pulitzer--*slaps him*), but sometimes he has the tendency to leap before he looks. It's why most things happen, bless him. I'm gonna tell him that I'm not going to do it because I can't find the story anywhere, the guy sounds a bit off, and I really don't want to, anyway. Heh!
